Dr Darren graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Sydney and prior to pursuing his career in Dentistry, he was also a registered pharmacist with a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Monash University. Dr Darren stayed and practiced in all scopes of general dentistry in Sydney for a number of years before he relocated home to the Gold Coast to be close to family. 

Dr Darren is gentle, friendly and endeavours to help his patients overcome anxieties they feel about visiting the dentist by ensuring a relaxed environment when under his care. He is very passionate about dentistry, this passion has also taken him abroad to provide free dental care for those in need. 

You will soon find out that he is knowledgeable in all areas of dentistry and he particularly excels at crown and bridge work. He has a keen interest in extractions and implants and he often attends courses to be at the forefront of providing exceptional services using the latest in dental techniques.

Dr Darren is fluent in English and Mandarin and always enjoys having a good chat with his patients. Outside of dentistry, Dr Darren enjoys reading, playing table tennis and badminton.
