ArtSmiles will use all reasonable endeavours to provide patients with appointments to meet their treatment needs. It is requested that patients make an agreed appointment time and date to assist the scheduling process, and notify the practice well in advance where this appointment cannot be met.

Please help us uphold the quality of care by following this policy. The practice cancellation policy requires 48 business hours' notice for cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment. Failure to do so will incur a cancellation fee of $50.00 for each 30 minutes of your scheduled appointment time, or a forfeit of your deposit.

For appointments longer than 30 minutes, a deposit to secure your appointment will be required.

This deposit will be allocated towards the cost of your next treatment.

To Cancel or Reschedule

Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call us on (07) 5588 3677 or send us an email.

FTA, Fail to Attend

In the event that a patient is a no-show and did not call to cancel or reschedule the appointment without the required notice period, it is considered a Fail to Attend and charges will be applied.

UTA, Unable to Attend

In the event that the patient calls within 72 to 48 hours of the appointment to cancel or reschedule, this is marked as UTA and charges are not applied.

However, ArtSmiles holds the right to refuse appointments to any patient who has consistently failed to attend (3 or more times) without reasonable notice, resulting in a gap in the clinician's bookings.

Nothing in this Policy is intended to restrict the statutory warranties contained in Australian Consumer Law.
