What is the Blessing Program?
The Blessing Program is an initiative by ArtSmiles to provide access to dental care for individuals experiencing genuine financial hardship on the Gold Coast.
Selected patients receive treatment at significantly reduced fees. In some cases, a clinic-managed fundraising campaign may be created to help cover the remaining cost. Every application is reviewed personally, and every case is treated with care and discretion.
How the Blessing Program Works
1. Application
Patients apply by sharing their story and circumstances with our team.
2. Case Review & Eligibility Assessment
Each application is carefully reviewed to confirm genuine hardship and clinical priority.
3. Treatment Plan With Reduced Fees
If approved, a personalised treatment plan is created with significantly reduced fees as part of the Blessing Program.
4. Fundraising Campaign, When Needed
If the discounted treatment is still not financially accessible, a clinic-managed GoFundMe campaign may be created to help cover the remaining cost.
5. Treatment Begins
Once funding is sufficient and clinically appropriate, treatment begins. Our team manages the process and provides updates throughout the journey.

Who reviews my application?
Every application is reviewed personally by our team. We look at your individual circumstances, clinical needs, and the information you provide. Each case is treated with care and discretion.
Does applying guarantee I will receive treatment?
No. All eligible applicants enter the program pool and may be considered in future rounds. Applying does not guarantee a place in the current round.
What treatments are available through the program?
The treatments available depend on the individual case and the clinical needs identified by our dentists. The program generally focuses on treatments that restore function, comfort and oral health. The final plan is determined after a professional dental assessment.

ArtSmiles Blessing Program – Public Terms & Conditions
1. Program Nature
The Blessing Program is an initiative operated by ArtSmiles Cosmetic Dentistry to support selected patients experiencing genuine financial hardship by facilitating access to reduced-cost dental treatment. The Blessing Program is not a registered charity.
2. Donations & Tax Status
All contributions made through GoFundMe are voluntary gifts. They are not charitable donations and are not tax-deductible.
3. Fund Management
All GoFundMe campaigns under the Blessing Program are organised and managed by ArtSmiles.
Funds are received by the clinic and deposited into a clinic-controlled bank account dedicated to the Blessing Program.
Funds are not paid directly to patients and are not provided as cash.
4. Use of Funds
Funds raised may only be used toward:
The dental treatment described on the fundraising page, and
Associated clinical and laboratory costs, or
A clinically appropriate alternative treatment for the same patient if treatment needs change.
5. Treatment Changes or Inability to Proceed
Dental treatment plans may change due to clinical findings, patient health, or unforeseen circumstances.
If treatment cannot proceed as originally planned, ArtSmiles reserves the right, at its discretion, to:
Apply funds to an alternative suitable treatment for the same patient,
Issue refunds via GoFundMe where practicable, or
Reallocate funds to another Blessing case.
6. Fundraising Targets
Fundraising goals are indicative only. Reaching a fundraising target does not guarantee that treatment will proceed.
Treatment will commence only once sufficient funds are available and it is clinically appropriate to do so.
7. Privacy & Consent
Patients participating in the Blessing Program provide consent for limited and respectful use of their story for fundraising purposes.
Clinical records and detailed health information remain confidential and are not publicly disclosed.
8. Platform Disclaimer
GoFundMe is a third-party platform. ArtSmiles is not responsible for GoFundMe’s platform availability, processing times, fees, or payment policies.
9. Right to Amend
ArtSmiles reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the Blessing Program and these Terms & Conditions at any time, in accordance with applicable laws and professional obligations.
